Media 100 HD Customers, Why Upgrade?

• Compressed HD Workflow- Work at native HD resolutions but with a more manageable file size. Whether you choose to acquire or render to the compressed HD workflow, your storage concerns will no longer be an issue.
• Increased HD performance. Advancements in the Version 11 software and the PowerMac G5 platform make playback limitations a thing of the past. Users now have the ability to playback 2 streams of full Uncompressed 10-bit media in native HD resolutions.
• Support for additional codecs in the timeline. These new codecs include: 8/10-bit Uncompressed 4:2:2, DVCPro, DVCPro 50, DVCPro HD.
• Ability to use legacy Media 100 i codec files with Alpha Channels in the timeline.
• Increased Master-to-Tape and Batch Acquire performance.
• Support for SDI Embedded Audio and Firewire in the next release.
