Real-time Effects at HD resolution include transitions, opacity control, keying, color correction, audio mixing, equalization, and broadcast-quality format conversion with aspect ratio conversion. Other SD effects render in near real-time, and effects on HD images are optimized for the Power Mac G5 platform.

The Media 100 HD Suite delivers the speed that HD postproduction has been missing with All On One Mastering. The system allows users to capture images at low or compressed resolution in progressive or interlaced formats, edit and apply effects in real time, and then recapture at any resolution. The Media 100 HD Suite is unique in its ability to capture HD signals as draft-resolution signals at as little as 5 kilobytes per frame, edit in real-time, and then recapture the program in 10-bit uncompressed HD.
